On Sunday afternoon at 4:41 p.m., a magnitude-4.7 earthquake was felt across parts of Northern California.
The earthquake occurred near Susanville in Lassen County and was shallow. This made the shaking noticeable in nearby communities and as far away as Reno and Sacramento.
