According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude-4.9 earthquake struck Barstow, California, on Monday, June 29, 2024, at 1 p.m. Pacific Time at a depth of nearly six miles. The shaking was felt in the Inland Empire from Calabasas to Los Angeles, Glendale, and beyond. The earthquake rattled a large portion of Southern California.
