What is a Custom URL?

A Unique Program for Agents

The Custom URL is a direct-to-consumer web link created exclusively for YOUR agency that allows your clients to quote/purchase earthquake themselves from your agency website. The link takes insureds to a client-facing version of the GeoVera Earthquake quoter on myGeoSource, which works just like the quoter you use.

Sign Up Today!

To sign up for a Custom URL, GeoVera will need:

  • Producer code(s)*
  • Contact information to display on the quoter:
    • Primary contact’s first and last name
    • Phone number
    • Email address
  • Note: *Sub-producers are not eligible for a Custom URL

How to use Your Custom URL Link

  1. Edit/Create a landing page on your website about Earthquake insurance.
  2. Add a button to Get a Quote, and link the button to your GeoVera Custom URL.
  3. Send the link to your clients so they can quote Earthquake insurance on your website!

What happens if your client clicks on your URL?

If clients click the URL, they can self-service from quote to purchase.

  • An email will be generated notifying you
  • A declaration page will be generated at 12:01 am the following morning
  • The client will receive their welcome kit in 5 to 7 business days
  • You will also see the quote/policy under “Product Dashboard” on mygeosource.com
  • The declaration page will download into your management system the following day if you receive downloads
  • An email will be generated notifying you
  • The email will include the email address and phone number so you can contact the applicant quickly
  • You will also see the quote/policy under “Product Dashboard” on mygeosource.com
  • You can go ahead and follow your process by calling out on these leads and helping the client customize and purchase
  • You may locate the client’s contact information on the “Earthquake Quotation & Enrollment page” for calling out
  • No email will be generated
  • You will also see “incomplete quote” under “Product Dashboard” on mygeosource.com
  • Since no email address is available, you can cross-reference the address with a current client and follow up with a mailer
  • If there is no match, this will be an incomplete quote with no action

In the policy/quote list, you will see a policy/quote as a consumer quote.
